Following a 3 year hiatus, UM Rowing is proud to announce the return of Row For Glory! Will the defending champions UM Wolves RFC make it 3 in a row or will a new contender rise to the occasion?
On the 9th of November, at Pjazza Dun Karm, students and student orgs are once again invited to assemble teams and compete against one another for bragging rights and a nifty cash prize. As per tradition, the competition will consist of a 4x500m relay. Each team must consist of 2 males and 2 females who will share one machine and take turns rowing 500m.
The competition is open to ALL STUDENTS, STUDENT ORGS & STAFF; teams do not necessarily need to be affiliated to student orgs. Student orgs may also register and compete with multiple teams (eg. UM Rowing A, UM Rowing B)
Prize money will be given to the teams with the fastest overall times as follows:
1st Place: €120
2nd Place: €80
3rd Place: €40
Entry fee (One fee per team):
- UM Rowing members: FREE
- UM Student Orgs: €10
- Other: €12
